In last month’s My Favorite Things release there was a die set called Shining Stars and a stamp set Written in the Stars. And then Jennifer McGuire did a tutorial on how to create galaxy backgrounds. Put all those together and you get a Reach for the Stars card.
Reach for the Stars Card Recipe
The feature of this card is the galaxy background. Check out this tutorial from Jennifer McGuire on how to create galaxy backgrounds. Once I got done with the background, I used a Lawn Fawn Stars Corner die to cut stars out of the background. White shimmer paper behind the galaxy made the stars stand out. My Favorite Things tag die was used to cut out the black piece of paper to be used for the sentiment from the Written in the Stars stamp set. Stars was cut out of iridescent white paper using the die from My Favorite Things mentioned in the opening paragraph. Put them all together and you’ve got a Reach for the Stars card.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in next time for another paper crafting project. Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
