Make a Wish

At first I didn’t just have to have this Lawn Fawn stamp set, but that was before I saw the sample card Lawn Fawn sent my LCS.  Once I saw that adorable card I knew that stamp set was mine.  These little guys have been colored for quite some time and I finally put them on a card.  Thank goodness for my Brother Scan n Cut 2.

Copics were used to color these two adorable creatures.  That is something that I love about Lawn Fawn is that the images are small and quick to color.  Tim Holtz Oxide inks in Wilted Violet and Faded Jeans were used to sponge the background.  I created a moon mask from masking paper by punching out a circle and placing it on the watercolor paper before I started sponging the color.  Once I’d finished the sponging I spritzed with water very lightly.  I used a Tombow marker in yellow to outline the moon to make it look more realistic.  Senitment Make a Wish is from the same stamp set as the little foxes.  The ‘grass’ is from My Favorite Things and were lying around in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in next time for another paper crafting project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Luke 9:  28  About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.
