WOYWW 427 – Progress

It is Wednesday and that means it is time to take a picture of my crafting desk and post it on Julia’s Stamping Ground Blog for WOYWW 427.  But the best part about this whole blog hop thing is going around and perusing other people’s desks to see what they are making.

Here is my desk this week.

Here is a sneak peak at my Craft Room Annex and a quick overview of my craft room:

It is Sushi night and I plan on doing some serious desk hopping tonight.  🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Tune in next time for a new paper crafting project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Luke 9:  12   Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, “Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here.”

  1. HI April, love the video. Great to have a ‘walk’ around your crafting space. really love your cat! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

  2. Amazing annex area. I agree with you about shoes; I’d rather have craft stuff too lol. I take it you stand to craft at the centre workspace, I always stand to stamp, but I don’t have a separate computer area so I have chairs round my work table. Happy WOYWW Sarah #25

  3. Love the annex space well all your space is wonderful …full of crafty goodness it’s so inviting…. Great video… Happy WOYWW… May#17

  4. Thanks for the tour! The annex space is a great idea – soon you will take over the entire basement! I love all the square box shelves, and I love IKEA too! We spent a lot of time there when our DD was in Uni! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #30

  5. Craft Room Annex…seriously gal, you’ll be needing a saparate house soon! Very jealous! what’s all the black (paint) in that lovely white tidy tray for then? and I do love the carnations, aren’t they a fab colour. Hope you enjoyed the sushi….

  6. Hi April! For some reason I thought I’d already visited but obviously I haven’t! It would have been a shame to miss your video – it was lovely to see you in action and what a great crafty space you have there! I’ve picked up some storage ideas! I love Ikea too and was looking at their cube storage. Also got that cart recently! It was fun to see your four-legged assistants as well – they’re so cute! Thanks for visiting earlier! Wishing you a happy weekend! zsuzsa #23

  7. Your room is fabulous, April! Great video. It reminds me that when I first got mine set up when we moved here, I promised to do a video tour but never got round to it (elderly parent problems, major health issues, etc. etc. getting in the way and putting it out of my mind!) but perhaps I should do it now! Seeing your Michael’s cube storage also made me very envious because I’d seen this when I was setting up my room and it was what I really wanted, but it’s not available here in the UK. What I’ve got works pretty well, though.

Thank you for your great comment – so glad you like our kittens! Yes, they are adorable and so full of character and great fun! My hospital visit went very well and I am pleased that my surgeon is keeping such a close eye on me and is obviously as keen as I am to avoid a repeat of what happened at the beginning of the year when my hernia caused an obstruction resulting in major emergency surgery and a 2 1/2 week stay in hospital. He’s booked me in for a further CT scan at the begining of next month and will see me again in about 3 months. We discussed various surgical options for a more permanent repair but for now he’s happier to leave well alone but keep a watching brief.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
    Shoshi #22
