Sparkle and Shine

It’s Thursday and that means it is time for a new challenge at the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog.  This week’s challenge is to make a card with sparkle and shine and our wonderful sponsor is Broken Fairy Designs.  Create a card and enter the challenge for a chance to win.

Sparkle and shine got me thinking glitter:

I used the tracing feature in Cricut Design Space to pull in the digi image and print and cut it out.  Check out my video for the directions on how to use that feature in Cricut Design Space.

Once I printed the image – I colored it with Copics.  Actually I printed 2 copies and fussy cut one of them after using Tonic Nuvo Mousse.  Glitter gave the ballerina outfit some bling.  The image was cut out on the Cricut Explore Air 2 after it was colored.  Background was made using a stencil and the same Tonic Nuvo Mousse.  Hugs comes from Elizabeth Craft Designs and was stacked one on top of the other.  Pink Bazzill bling card stock was used to mat the image.

Take some time to enter the card for a child challenge at Creative Knockouts.  Thanks for stopping by the blog today and tune in next time for another paper crafting project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
