Unfortunately I am need of a sympathy card. As much as I don’t like needing sympathy cards, it makes me feel better giving someone who is grieving some support in the form a comforting sentiment and some supportive words. Butterflies often times seem appropriate and this is no exception.
Butterfly Sympathy Card Recipe
This was a pretty simple card, but I think it turned out well. On pinterest there was a card using the stitched lines die from My Favorite Things and it had little stars strategically placed along the stitched lines. I immediately thought it would be nice with butterflies instead of stars for my sympathy card. Avery Elle provided the beautifully scripted sentiment. Enamel dots from Ranger were used to decorate the larger butterflies and Simon Says Stamps confetti topped off the card.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another paper crafting project. Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 9: 18 – 20
Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, that one of the prophets of long ago has come back to life.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “God’s Messiah.”
