My Favorite Things came out with a fun release last week and I have been playing with that and my new Tonic Stamping Platform designed by Tim Holtz. Along with that I used my Silhouette Pixscan mat so that I didn’t have to die cut the stamped images. Shew! So many products and so little time. Here is the card I created using the new All About You stamp set.
You Make Me Smile Card Recipe
Bazzil Textured Adhesive Back White Card stock is the focal point of this card. I just love black and white cards and this one fits the bill. I had a class on Saturday demonstrating how to use the Pixscan mat so I used the new All About You stamp set from My Favorite Things to demonstrate. I stamped the images on the mat and then took a picture. I sent that picture to myself in an email. Here is a picture of the mat.
So I open this in my Silhouette Studio software using the Pixscan icon. I trace the images and cut them out. It is just that easy. Notice I also included those cute little tigers, too. Pulling in a nested shape, I cut out the Bazzil White card stock and the black mat. Tim Holtz’s new stamping platform was used to stamp the images on the Pixscan mat and the ‘make me smile’ on the textured white card stock. Flat black enamel dots finished out the project along with a clear Spectrum Noir Glitter pen.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in next time for another paper crafting project. Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
