WOYWW 424 – Halfway There

It is Wednesday and that means that it’s time to take a picture of my work desk and share it with desk hoppers from around the world for WOYWW 424 on the Stamping Ground Blog!  Very dramatic, huh.  Not really compared to my family.  My youngest daughter who moved back in 2 and half weeks ago has already moved back out.  Go figure.  No harm no foul.  It forced me to fast forward my ruthless clean up so I can live with that.

Here is what my desk looks like this week:

Thanks for stopping by my desk today.  I hope to make it to lots of desks after I put my Granddaughter down for the night.  I surely can’t do anything while I am watching her as she is a handful!  Tune in next time for another paper crafting project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

  1. Hi April, Glad you are looking on the positive side of your daughter moving out so quickly.

Your desk sure looks ready for some major projects.

Always nice to have a helper.

  2. It’s nice for your daughter to have somewhere to stay in between homes – I used to do that when I was younger – I moved around a lot! Cute doggie! Oreo always takes my place as well! You don’t look old enough to have a granddaughter! Have a happy week! zsuzsa #18

  3. Yay, the lovely fresh flowers are back, so you must have done some tidying. It was your example which encouraged me to bring my orchid out to the shed. Happy WOYWW Sarah #17

  4. Your daughter moving out so fast did tickle me – but at least she had somewhere to stay for that time! Great views of your desk. Helen #7

  5. That’s what mums are for huh?! I’m pleased your daughter got somewhere sorted so quickly and you did have a tidy-up so it’s a win-win situation, lol!!

  6. How have I failed to notice that rack at the back of view 2 with all the little packets and things in – what a lovely way to store them. I do love having it all within my line of vision, it stands a far better chance of being used!
Hope your daughter’s stay was as sweet as it was short; as you say, it gave you a very definite deadline for your sorting, so it can only be a good thing from that point of view! I’m currently looking after my sister’s dog whilst she’s on holiday. Honestly, it’s as close to having a baby in the house as I remember – takes up so much time, so I understand why yr granddaughter needs to be in bed! Lovely that you can have the best of both though!

  7. Hi April,
Ah, yes very full on having family no matter which generation around, do love your desks space though and your flowers too, I love flowers inside when I can..
Your helper is very very cute.

  8. Your little helper is adorable! I have two dogs and they are getting up in age. One is going deaf so she’s become my shadow. Bless all furry companions.

Your desk looks nice and crafty! I have got to do a good sort out of my things. I know I’m going to find duplicates!!

I’m visiting late this week!! Today is my last day on the job and I’m taking advantage!
    Happy WOYWW
