It is Thursday and that means a new challenge at the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog and it’s Birthday Wishes. This week’s sponsor is Digital Delights and the prize is $5 voucher. I used Starz the Unicorn to create my card this week.
Birthday Wishes Card Recipe
Using my favorite background technique, I sponged watercolor card stock with the new Tim Holtz Oxide Distress inks in Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry. Then I spritzed the card stock with water to get that speckled look. Copic markers were used to color the Unicorn in coordinating colors. Cloud dies from Lawn Fawn were used to cut out white paper. Salty Ocean was used to ink the edges of the clouds. Make a Wish from Stamps of Life is stamped on a cloud in Lawn Fawn Black ink. Unicorn was popped up and made to look like she was floating on a cloud. Pretty Pink Posh sequins and googly eyes top off the card. And white gel pen was used for highlights.
Take some time to create a card to enter the Birthday Wishes challenge at Creative Knockouts.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in next time for another paper crafting project. Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 8: 41 – 42 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
