WOYWW 418 – Taking Classes

It is WOYWW and that means I need to take a picture of my desk and share it on Julia’s blog – the Stamping Ground for WOYWW 418.  This week is a little different for me as I am taking classes instead of teaching classes.  Yesterday I took a class with Beth Kingston (from HSN and Cricut) and made a globe.  It is quite cute.  If you’re in the area of Louisville KY she is teaching 3 classes on June 24th – go to the Craft Inn website to get more information.  And on Thursday I am starting a 5 week course on Calligraphy.  I am extremely excited to see how I do with it.  I plan on writing notes at work in calligraphy for practice.  So my desk this week is a little messy, but not too bad.

I do have to tell you a story.  My craft room now overlooks our pool.  I was hoping to get a good picture of it, but it was dark by the time I was done with my Tuesday class.  I know that sounds very la te da, but in reality it is all talk.  The pool my craft room overlooks is a 6′ x 10′ blow up pool.  LOL  But I must say I enjoy saying my craft room overlooks our pool.

Updated with picture.

My Mother-in-law is coming over tonight so we can get the pictures off her phone and somewhere we can print them.  I hope to do some desk hopping but it depends on how late she stays.  I will be desk hopping it just might be later this week.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in tomorrow and I will share my globe project.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

April

Luke 8:  4 – 5  While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.

Thank you for your visit and your nice comment. I think UFOs are an occupational hazard for most of us, don’t you? It would be an interesting competition to see who has the most. Bet I’d be at the top…

  9. Sorry I’m late visiting. My internet was down for nearly two days, but I’m back now. What a great way to introduce your new pool. I am in awe and it looks rather maintenance free, too. As always, I love the two views of your desk. Happy belated WOYWW from #5.
