My Favorite Things release for June is full of adorable critters, but my favorite are the loveable leopards. Just Fur You incorporates multiple My Favorite Things elements.
These are colored with Copics in the following colors: Leopards: YR23, YR14, YR27 Tree Limb: E34, E35, E37 Leaves: YG41, YG45, YG97 Knots in the tree limb were simulated with a Copic MultiLiner .05.
They were cut out using my Brother Scan-n-Cut 2. I cannot recommend this machine enough. I have only scratched the surface of what this baby can do. Buying coordinating dies for my stamps is now a thing of the past.
Here is the card I made using several techniques.
Just Fur You Card Recipe
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Broken China and Wilted Violet were used to create the background. Don’t you just love those inks? I sponged on the color and lightly spritzed with water and it’s looks great. Navy Blue cardstock along with a couple Blueprints die sets from My Favorite Things formed the frame and stiched background. That adorable leopard and cute birdies are from the latest My Favorite Things release. Copic marker colors used to color these guys is up top. The sentiment is also from the Loveable Leopards stamp set. Brother Scan-n-Cut 2 die cut these babies for me.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in next time for another paper crafting project.
Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 8: 22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out.
