It’s Been Too Long

It is Monday once again.  They just seem to keep coming around although, I guess that is a good thing.  Today’s card is in fond memory of Friday – It’s Been Too Long since Friday.  Actually this card is more for  a friend you haven’t seen in a while.

I don’t know about you, but I had big plans for this weekend.  I accomplished some of what I wanted to get done, but didn’t accomplish everything.  Oh well, those tasks will still be waiting for me as I am confident no one else will do it.

It’s Been Too Long Card Recipe

This is the last of the cards I made with some of the embellishments made of felt.  The sun in this particular card is yellow felt.  The giraffe is from Lawn Fawn and is part of the Wild for You stamp set.  Little giraffe is colored with Copic markers.  The sand/dirt that he is sitting on is a Die-namics Die from My Favorite Things called Stitched Valley.  Bazzill Bling Blue card stock is peeking through the Stitched Rectangle Peek-a-boo window also from My Favorite Things.  Clouds were formed using the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil and the sun and cloud are from Lawn Fawn.  This is a fun cute card that would be perfect to tell someone you are missing them.

Just a note – the giraffe was cut out using my Brother Scan-n-Cut 2 which is an awesome machine for cutting out stamped images.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in tomorrow for a new video showing how I put these felt cards together.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Luke 8:  11 – 12  “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.  Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

  1. Hi April, If there’s one sure thing, it’s that there will always be chores to do.

    Love the card.

Hope you have a good start to the week. Sue
