It’s a Mixture CASE

I’ve been playing around in my craft room trying some techniques that I’ve seen, but haven’t had the chance to CASE yet.  I worked on my Jennifer McGuire CASE on Saturday which is craft day at my church and I finished up some of those cards.  I still have lots of pieces left over from those to create even more cards.  Then I worked on my Jennifer McGuire CASE on the Cricut Explore Air 2 today.  My favorite card of the day however was a mixture between a favorite Oxide Ink technique and a technique used by Justine Hovey that I am also CASEing.  It’s a mixture CASE.

Here is my card.

Remember the background on my card from my Sunday post.  It’s the background of the Loveable Leopards card.  When I made that background I made it large enough for 2 cards.  Here is the Justine Hovey card that inspired me.

Now I am in the process of CASEing all 6 cards that she made, but I really liked the popped up sentiment so I thought Hmmmm.

Here is my mixture.

Using the left over background that I made for Sunday’s card I cut THANKS out with a My Favorite Things THANKS metal die.  I also cut out some fun foam and adhered it to the back of the THANKS cut out with Ranger Multi Medium adhesive in matte finish.  Paper piecing the Thanks back into place but popped up gives the card dimension.  It’s such a simple card, but I just love how it turned out.  You can bet you’re going to be seeing some similar cards in the future.  Doodlebug glitter dots finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in next time for another paper crafting project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
