Sending Sunshine

During the coloring challenge in March (wow – I can’t believe it’s over a month ago) I colored lots of images, but didn’t get all of them on cards.  I am working through the pile and trying to get them on cards.  This is a Taylored Expressions image that I stamped and colored with Bic Markers.  I am Sending Sunshine your way on this Cinco de Mayo.

Sending Sunshine Card Recipe

As I mentioned before I stamped this Taylored Expression Rainboot Bouquet image in My Favorite Things Black Ink on Neenah Solar White card stock.  I colored the image using Bic Markers.  There is a matching die for this image and I used it to cut out the rainboots bouquet.  Using Tim Holtz Oxide Distress Ink in Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans and Broken Glass, I inked up the background card stock.  I spritzed the background with water and then laid bubble wrap on the wet ink to get a funky pattern.  Fun foam and Stick It adhesive were used to pop the image up on the background.  The sentiment is also in the set with the rain boots and was stamped in Versamark Ink and heat set in black embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in tomorrow for a new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
