So I’ve been talking about using the same die set to create cards that have a different look. But I don’t have that die set you say. And we can’t all afford to go out and buy every die set we see in a blog post of video. I have a solution – different dies the same way. If you’re like me you have a nice collection of dies and stamps. More than likely you have something similar to the stamp or die set that was used for the technique you saw in that blog post of video. Here is an example from my own stash. I flipped through my dies and found a whispy butterfly die that was similar to the Concord & 9th butterfly die from Floral & Flutter.
Same But Different Card Recipe
You can refer back to the first post in this series for all the details. I substituted the ECD Dancing Butterfly dies in place of the Concord & 9th butterfly die. This just illustrates that you can use any technique with items you already have in your stash and both turn out equally beautiful. The sentiment for this card is from ArtC. Not great stamps, but I can deal with the distressed look on this card. My Nuvo crystal drops were a little like Hershey Kisses today. I don’t know why they are more stiff sometimes than they are other times.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another example of the same but different.
Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 7: 32
They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other “‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance, we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’
