Bright Colors 4 Kids Card Recipe

I started with a cute digi image from Paper Nest Dolls – Avery with Fireflies and colored it with Chameleon Color Tones.  I used a Clear Glitter Spectrum Noir glitter pen on the fireflies to give them a little sparkle, but it’s hard to see in the picture.  The layout is from a sketch and I used variations of purple card stock for the background.  Polaroid frames are one of my favorites and it worked out perfectly with this layout.  My stash was the source of my sentiment.  One enamel dot tops off the card.

Thanks for stopping by the blog.  Please consider joining in on the challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog and sending the card you made to bring a smile to one of our kids.  Tune in tomorrow for a card made using my Cricut Explore 2.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Luke 7:  39   When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.”

  1. Hi April, That’s a nice card.

What a fab idea to make cards for kids in hospital. We don’t have anything like that here.

Hope you have had a good start to the week. Sue
