This was my additional attempt at CASEing Jill Foster on the Penny Black Youtube channel. This time I used Versafine Black Onyx ink and Tombow markers on the Penny Black Red Blush Stamp. Here is the result – Penny Black Rose Take Two.
Penny Black Rose Take Two Card Recipe
This card was done with the same general premise as yesterdays card, but I used black water proof ink (Verafine Black Onyx) for the rose outline. The rose petals and leaves were done using Tombow markers. The background was done with the same Tim Holtz Distress Ink Salty Ocean diluted with water. Then the ink was dabbed around the edges of the masked image along with Antique Linen. Once I peeled off the painters tape I dipped my fingers in water and flicked water on the image. That flicking caused one of the edges to bleed a little bit and some of the colors to bleed into one another. I really like that look as it caused the image to look vintage. I stamped a sentiment from Penny Black on the white on the bottom of the water color paper. I inked the edges of the paper with Peeled Paint and used FSJ card stock in Kiwi to mat the card front. The card base is FSJ Oatmeal Cookie (Kraft).

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 7: 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.
