House Divided

House divided is a term used in my part of the country to describe households who root for the Louisville Cardinals and the University of Kentucky Wildcats.  Some people like both teams.  Some households have one person who roots for the Cardinals and another who roots for the Wildcats.  Most people are die hard fans for one or the other team.  But a coworker likes both so I created a card for her with both team’s mascots.

House Divided Card Recipe

I started by cutting the Wildcat out in vinyl because intricate cuts work best on vinyl in my experience.  The Cardinal was cut out using paper.  I placed both on coordinating background paper and put a black strip in between.  Usually my cards are A2, but this card is 4.5 x 6.75 because it’s bigger and I had envelopes to put it in.  🙂  The inside, that I did not photograph, was stamped with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn – Happy Birthday.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in tomorrow for another card.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Luke 6:  39 – 40  He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?  The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
