Happy April. This is a confusing time of the year for me since my name is April and the month is April. Often times I have to clarify – are you talking about the month or me. LOL Even though it is confusing it always make me think of spring and flowers and then flowers make me think of butterflies. Thus – butterfly happiness.
Butterfly Happiness Card Recipe
This card started with the Silhouette Cameo and Lori Whitlock. Well it actually started with Dennis. He is a gentlemen who attends my Silhouette classes at Craft Inn. He was talking about a bunch of card bases he’d made using Lori Whitlock’s stacking a2 card bases from the Silhouette Design Store. He pre made the bases and then added sentiments and images as needed. The cards were beautiful so I decided I needed to CASE his idea. Turns out I’d purchased most of the bases already so I set to cut them out. This is one of them. I added a butterfly from Elizabeth Craft Designs Dancing Butterflies and a tag with a sentiment from Penny Black. Enamel dots topped off the design. I will be making many more of these. My next project is to make them in black and white and add a splash of color with the die cut I add to the base. Thank you Dennis and Lori. This is card making made easy.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.
Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 6: 23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.
