Stamping with My Silhouette Cameo

I am not sure everyone knows what a Silhouette Cameo is. If you do, skip the next sentence.   The Silhouette Cameo is an electronic cutting machine. But my title says stamping with my Silhouette Cameo. What the heck!  And yet that is exactly what I have done. I have created stamps with my Silhouette Cameo. So do you think I have used the phrase Silhouette Cameo enough. 😉

I cut out the sentiment and the flip flops using my Silhouette Cameo (said it again) and stamping material used to make stamps. There is also a special mat. Once I cut out the images I placed them on an acrylic block. After trying Hero Arts ink with no success I tried Versamark ink and heat set it with embossing powder. Woo hoo!  I am uber pleased with the results. The background of the Be Where You Are stamp is Nuvo Mousse that was applied after heat embossing. The background of the flip flops is Tim Holtz Oxide Ink also applied after the flip flops were heat embossed with Nuvo glitter embossing powder. Enamel dots and mats were added to finish the cards.  I also added a sentiment to the flip flops from Stamps of Life.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
