Goin Round in Circles

So I ran into Dee up at Craft Inn (aka my happy place) and she was sharing some cards she’d made using the Nuvo Mousse by Tonic Studios. She’d taken a blending tool normally used to ink up paper with Distress Ink and had used it to daub circles of Mousse for a background.  Well I knew I had to CASE that background.

I started with a plain piece of white cardstock and my favorite blending tool.   Dipped the sponge in the Mousse and strategically placed dots. This technique was repeated using black, pink and purple. On another full sheet of white cardstock I brushed on the purple Mousse.  Using a Sizzix thank you die from Stephanie Barnard I cut thank you out of the both backgrounds.  And as I have seen Jennifer McGuire do oh so many times I put the pieces from one background like a puzzle in the opening of the other background. I added a mat and some Doodlebug glitter enamel dots and there is my thank you card.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
