I saw the sun today and I think my mojo peeked in on me, but time was not on my side. I used another one of Penny Black’s Stickaroo’s to create today’s card.
Time was not on my side because today was my granddaughter’s first birthday (I feel so old when I say my granddaughter) and she had a party. I offered up my help with the party yesterday which resulted in my going to the grocery after work in 30 degrees. No big deal – I can handle it. I also offered to pick up the cake and balloons today before the party. So I packed up all the food that I purchased yesterday and headed for Kroger to pick up the cake and balloons. Unfortunately, the cake was not ready on time and it got later and later. I wasn’t late for the party yet. They finished the cake and I made it with 30 minutes to spare. I came to the party with free ice cream, but I won’t go into how that happened.
But back to my original reason for the post.
Warm Thoughts Card Recipe
I started with a Penny Black Stickaroo. Elizabeth Craft Designs scalloped oval cut out in green and placed on some red pattern card stock. I popped up the round scalloped piece with the sticker and I added a sentiment ‘warm thoughts’ on a banner that I cut out using a Paper Sweeties die. I placed it on a card base along with some green enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.
Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
