Today I have a card to share using the new Lawn Fawn release stamp set Meow You Doin’. I stamped several kitties from that set and elephants from the Elfie Selfie set. I try color while I was watch tv. After using my Brother Scan’n’Cut 2 to cut out the images, I made this Triple Time Kitties card.
Saturday was craft day at church and I went in armed with pictures from our 2016 Disney trip, ‘Disney’ Style paper from Echo Park, red, yellow and black card stock. First I trimmed the photos and at that point I lost interest; however, I gained a second wind and completed 10 layouts. Woo Hoo! I am making a book for my Mom and Todd’s Mom to remember our trip.
On Sunday I had quite a list of things to do. Cut out letters for Best Buddies in material, create sample cards for Diane using the new Heartfelt Creations release and make cards for my blog. I also decided to make myself a shirt with a Dr. Suess saying. That is where it all fell apart. I hate weeding glitter! This shirt is going to be adorable, but we won’t be offering it to sell. I swear I worked on weeding the blue glitter for over an hour. Did I mention I hate weeding glitter vinyl. I am still not done. My back started hurting, my neck was hurting and I need to cut out another N. I can’t see the cut lines on glitter vinyl making it really really hard to weed. Ugh. But I did create a card using the new Lawn Fawn set.
Triple Time Kitties Card Recipe
Kraft cardstock and a My Favorite Things Die were used to create the base for this card. Behind the kraft card stock is a piece of wood grain patterned paper from My Favorite Things. Kitties were colored with Copics and I used a little white gel pen for highlights. The little kitty paw is also from the Meow You Doin’ stamp set along with the ball of yarn. Kitties and the yarn were popped up in each circle window using foam tape. The little mouse fit perfectly on the bottom right hand side of the card front. I was so impressed that my Brother Scan ‘n’ Cut 2 cut out every image that I stamped and colored. It even got that little mouse tail.
I have entered this card in the challenge on the Paperplayers Challenge Blog.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.
Have a great day and enjoy the moments and some chocolate.
Luke 5: 6 – 7 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
