Heartfelt Creations released a new collection on Wednesday and I was lucky enough to buy that collection. As anyone who reads my blog regularly knows that I’ve been struggling with my creativity lately. One of my favorite things about Heartfelt Creations is their paper collections which are absolutely gorgeous. They are also full of elements that can be used to make some lovely cards with minimal creativity required. I used those elements to create Heartfelt Easter Blessings.
Heartfelt Easter Blessings Card Recipe
I started with a 6 x 6 square panel from the Flowering Dogwood Collection paper pad. I cut out another smaller panel from the collection that has a church. Then 3 more rectangles using the patterned paper. After distressing the edges of those rectangles, I layered them at angles on top of each other. Using Tim Holtz Distress ink and a sponge dauber I colored the Flowering Dogwood Branch stamp flowers in pink and the foliage in green. Stamped it on white card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die topping it off with glitter. It is tucked under the layered card stock. The panel is placed on a card base.
I am teaching 2 Silhouette classes today and 2 Explore Classes tomorrow so my weekend is booked. I hope you have plans for a relaxing weekend.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Tune in tomorrow for another project.
Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
Luke 4: 16 – 17 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him.
